Story
Through playing the game the story didn’t engage me but I think that is expected in a game like this where it’s all about enjoying the combat and the movement. But it was easy to follow so by the end you weren’t confused and understood what was going on and knew why the characters were acting in that way.
Movement
In a game like this the movement has to be the priority and feel smooth for the player, I believe that they did a very good job in this game. The wall riding felt very fluid and intuitive and there weren’t many instances where it would bug out or feel odd. As I got better and more used to the movements, I was able to string it all together which feels very satisfying and smooth.
Abilities
Through playing the story your able to pick up 4 different special abilities which have the same cooldown and take equally as long to become available. Being able to choose which one you wanted to use and making it not affect the cooldown is a very cool feature and allows it to feel customisable even when you’re in a mission. You also have other abilities which are very helpful in combat and they are Dash (which allows you to move quickly in any direction) and Sensory Boost (which allows you to slow down time). These are very handy and very satisfying when your able to master them.
Enemies
This game has a good variety of enemies which you come across; each have unique ways of taking out which can be frustrating when you don’t know how to do it reliable but very satisfying once mastered.
Difficulty
This game is quite challenging, though in each level I found a couple of sections very difficult and may have died a couple of times there. However, I was expecting the boss fights to be more challenge when you compare it to the rest of the game. The first two were very interesting and even though they took a while to compete they were enjoyable and fun to figure out but I found the last two quite easy and was disappointed in how the game ended.
